Course Content

IOSH Working Safely is designed for people at any level where health and safety is critical to their role. Especially suitable for new starters, the course provides essential introduction to the basics of safety in the workplace, from identifying potential issues to taking practical steps to limit them wherever possible.

Aims

IOSH Working Safely is designed to give the general workforce the knowledge and tools they need to effectively manage their health and safety.

 

Objectives

Being able to identify risks and potential hazards along with being able to complete a full risk assessment on your workplace. Knowledge will also be developed on how to be able to limit these.

 

Exam AND Assessment

The assessment consists of a 10 question, multiple-choice paper, which delegates will be given 20 minutes to complete, along with a hazard spotting exercise.

On successful completion of the assessment, delegates will be awarded a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) – a nationally recognised and respected industry body.
